Eric Martsolf makes a splash in Metropolis (and SMALLVILLE) as Booster Gold
Imagine my surprise when a few weeks ago I open my TV Guide and there’s a picture of Eric Martsolf (who my regular readers will know I’ve interviewed numerous times for Days Of Our Lives) in a superhero outfit for his appearance on the CW hit Smallville. What did I do? I rushed to the phone and set up an interview to talk about his role as Booster Gold (who appears tonight in the Tom Welling-directed episode) and, of course, catch up on what’s happening with good old Brady Black on Days.
Now, I will say that I had the good fortune of already seeing the “Booster” episode that is airing tonight before I talked to Eric and, in short, the episode and Mr. Martsolf are both pretty damn terrific. For the loyal Days fans, you should know that Booster and Brady are not too much alike but seeing Eric shine in this role is a true pleasure.
