StaciG: You know, the main memory I have of Frances is when we were running lines between Isabella & Alice. She started telling me about a cruise down the Egyptian Nile that she was going on. I remember thinking what a great life, and how wonderful- she has such a full life. She was really enjoying life & having adventures. 9:01 PM

StaciG: About the writing- Sure! I'm a writer. I love to write. Dena was the writer with the show when I was on before, and she's obviously doing well, since the show's been renewed. I would love to write characters on the show- it is really hard work! 9:05 PM

StaciG: My favorite storyline- The Cancer storyline. As an actor, was my favorite because it was so real. Our main stage manager, at that time, his wife had died of pancreatic cancer. So it made me aware that it was touching people's real life- as well as touched me- because it made me realize I had a finite time & made everything more poigniant. I also liked the scenes when Matt Ashford & I escaped from the sanitarium.. They had to keep separating Matt & I because we were laughing so much. 9:07 PM

StaciG: No, I don't watch Days- I write during the day. I didn't even watch Days when I was on. As an actor, I didn't really want to take myself out of the realm of the character, so I didn't want to watch the whole show. 9:09 PM

StaciG: Brady & Chloe- Those scenes were really heartfelt. I don't have a memory about the scenes themselves, but my favorite memory about that time was when I first arrived on set. Kyle came running down the hall calling "Mom!" I thought, I love this kid! and Nadia is funny & adorable- love those kids! 9:12 PM

StaciG: Hmm- Living or dead actor? Oh my goodness. Given the chance, I would like to act with Al Pacino, Frances McDormand, Diane Keaton, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jack Nicholson. I like artists who fly by the seat of their pants. They do a lot of preparation- but they are completely present, alive and real in their scenes! 9:14 PM

StaciG: Cruise of Deception- I met my best friend Joey Gironda- who played Ernesto Toscano's bodyguard. We were working so many hours during that storyline. I was really tired all the time. One day I finished my scenes & drove home. Turned off my phone & went to sleep. I drove in the next morning and Drake came up to me wondering where I was- they were trying to get ahold of me. Apparently I had left the night before without finishing my scenes. I went in the makeup room and was crying and everyone else came in and was telling stories about similar incidents. 9:16 PM

StaciG: Al Rabin, our Executive Producer, came in and said that he knew that I was more upset than he could ever make me himself- but he said don't ever let it happen again. 9:17 PM

Julie: Do you think that John cared as much for Isabella as he did for Marlena? Clearly he loved her very much, but there has always been a lot of debate about whether John loved Izzy as much as Marlena or if he stayed with her primarily because of the circumstances of Roman's return. StaciG: Weirdest gift? Stephen Nichols got the most weird ones. I didn't get as many weird gifts. I had a stalker that bothered my parents. I did have a fan who had my head as a cake for his 60th birthday, and I did get a lot of letters from prison- which was kinda scary. 9:23 PM

StaciG: Kissing Drake was not awkward, because we were Roman/John & Isabella. He was a perfect gentleman, good kisser but only happened on set. He was a consummate professional & offset was like my big brother. The first time that Isabella & Roman went to bed, Drake had to coach me through all the mechanics- was not sexy- all mechanics. 9:24 PM

StaciG: Eric/Kyle- It is hard to tell because Brady is more mature & jaded and messed up now. Kyle was playing it as messed up over Chloe, where Eric brings more maturity to the role because Brady is now older. 9:28 PM

StaciG: Actresses smoke & don't eat- not a healthy lifestyle. Lot of pressure to be thin. I always felt like the biggest girl on the show, and I weighed 106 lbs. 9:29 PM

BricoleFan: Thanks for answering Staci! I agree that Brady's changed a lot... Eric had big shoes to fill coming into the role, but he's made it his own, and makes the character work fabulously! :) 9:29 PM

StaciG: The birth of Brady- That was really fun. Who gives birth at the altar of their wedding in their boustierre? I was very serious about doing a good job, as I had never had kids. I watched She's Having a Baby because they said it was like the best delivery scene ever! Also asked Mary Beth Evans, since she had kids. During filming, I had Richard Biggs cracking jokes that day as my doctor. And then we had the LA Riots- I thought we'd never give birth to Brady- I was pregnant for 11 months. 9:31 PM

I wanted to write something about a soap star who winds up living with her parent's basement at age 40 (which actually did happen to me).. It is very fun, and very sweet and really about becoming a real live girl. It will do a lot of the things that had happened to me- such as meeting a fan in the grocery store, and them wondering why you are there in the middle of Colorado. 9:36 PM
