JohnCallahan: Hi Dannie. If I did know if I was returning to Days, I can't tell you. But if I was a betting man- I'd place a small wager. Right now I am the chief bookie in the prison so it keeps me busy.

KimAshton: John what is a talent that you have that no one knows about?

JohnCallahan: Julie- I had probably the most fun with Ari Zucker, because the banter was intelligent & fun & a lot of people seemed to enjoy it. In terms of scenes with emotional depth, in both rehearsal and on stage, some of the scenes with Kristian were the most shaded and interesting.

Julie: Thank you for answering! LOVE Ari, she's my fave actress on the show! :) And I particularly enjoyed you and Night-time Hope together... great scenes!

JohnCallahan: Michele- I don't know about story line specifically but I would have liked to work with Stefano DiMera. I think he would have been an interesting counterpart & I don't know if anyone on the canvas is going toe to toe with him.

JohnCallahan: Joe gave me a compliment that if I came back, I had to make the condition that I had to work with him. That said, I did enjoy working with James Scott.

txhearts: Did you prefer the Night Hope storyline, or the babyswitch?

Ana: Loved your scenes with Nicole.

JohnCallahan: I had worked with him on All My Children previously. It is nice to see his progress, and he greeted me very warmly when I returned. We had a fun storyline when he came in the prison, after I found out Sami & Ej were together.

Ana: Any fond memories from Santa Barbara?

JohnCallahan: Jeanne- who knows. Maybe there is another hidden baby that only Baker knows about

danniebear87: Do you have any plans for the holidays?

JohnCallahan: TxHearts- The Nighttime Hope only because Kristian made it so interesting and you never knew where at any given moment the story was going to turn. Whether she was going to suddenly remember- her unpredictability heightened the suspense. I enjoyed being a part of that.

JohnCallahan: Ana- Plenty of fond memories from Santa Barbara. The show was very popular outside of this country. Recently on my FB page, I have been getting clips from Santa Barbara all the way from Russia. I am seeing scenes that I can barely remember, from 20 years ago. Santa Barbara was a show, at the time, that used to win a bunch of Emmys and was known as the show that everyone wanted to work on.

JohnCallahan: I got to work with a lot of great actors and writers- A Martinez, Marcy Walker, Robin Mattson, Nancy Lee Grahn, to name a few. Such a plethora of talent, hard to pick out a scene.

Ana: One of my favorite soap operas. Loved watching Eden and Cruz lovestory and a very young Robin Wright.

JohnCallahan: I missed working with Robin. She was on in the mid 80's and I came on after her. So, I never got to work with her.

JohnCallahan: If I have any minor regrets, it is not getting a chance to work with her. She is extremely talented.

danniebear87: Robin's on Days now. It seems that she's a naughty doctor like Baker :)

dlh: it was so nice meeting u in June at the studio don't know if u remember but u came out for a break LOL and we were there and talked with us

JohnCallahan: Dannie- Holiday plans...I will have my daughter, my girlfriend & some family & friends for Thanksgiving here at my house. Christmas is a home- family time- no great traveling.. I just got back from Florida for a charity golf tournament and I travel a lot for work. From late November through the New Year, I enjoy being home. Good food & a football game.

JohnCallahan: Your feedback is not dismissed by the powers that be. The more you clamor at the prison gates for Dr. Baker, the better chance he'll get out & revisit Salem

Julie: Are you familiar with the theory that Sydney is Nicole's baby? What do you think of it?

JohnCallahan: I am touched & pleased by all the support and it does not go unappreciated.

JohnCallahan: I was born in Brooklyn so NASCAR was weaving through traffic. Definitely football. Both sides of my family were from the Bronx so I was baptized a Giants fan. I am really happy the Jets are doing well though- always loved Joe Namath.

Brenda: That would be kinda crazy considering the story line going on now!

JohnCallahan: Julie: They are doing amazing things with Salem incubators so anything is possible so I will leave that stretch of creativity to the writers. Don't count out Dr. Baker. He has a couple aces up his sleeve.

JohnCallahan: dannie: There's a wrap party on Friday. I don't know much about it. It is a comedy & I am the straight man in the comedy. I look forward to seeing it in festivals as early as next year.

jeanne1: most of the days cast is on twitter

Brenda: And what was the worst and best jobs you have had aside from acting?

SalemGazettePresMichele: John would you ever consider going on twitter or having an official website?

JohnCallahan: Michele- On a subconscious level, when I was a kid, before I even thought about acting- I enjoyed a lot of old movies & liked Humphrey Bogart, Spencer Tracy, Errol Flynn, etc

JohnCallahan: Gable, Brando, Garfield- and then as I got older & started to consider acting as a profession, it was Pacino/DeNiero/Hoffman.

JohnCallahan: DeNiro- sorry typed too fast

Brenda: Lol

danniebear87: Is there a particular kind of character you haven't played yet that you would want to play?

JohnCallahan: Forgot Jimmy Cagney too! I probably saw 20 of his movies growing up!

JohnCallahan: Robert Mitchum too- I keep thinking of others!

Julie: If any actress in the world could be your leading lady, which would you choose?

dlh: i like Robert Mitchum and John Wayne

JohnCallahan: Brenda- Worst job was working as a incinerator sweeper for a county sanitation dept. You basically brushed the stuff off the top of the incinerator and hoped the doors never opened.

JohnCallahan: Best job- I really enjoyed my time on AMC but I am having the most fun on DAYS

JohnCallahan: As for twitter/website, up until a few years ago, I didn't even have email. My Facebook page is putting my toes in the water. If you want to explain the advantages to me on my FB page, I am willing to listen.
