Daniel Jonas

Daniel is a world-renowned surgeon who came to Salem at the request of family friend, Victor Kiriakis. Though his professional reputation has garnered him much attention, his personal life is somewhat of a mystery. Not one to stay in one place too long, this avid surfer likes to travel where the waves beckon.

Daniel came to Salem to treat Bo, whose pancreas was mysteriously failing. With the help of Lexie and Kayla, Daniel performed experimental surgery and saved Bo's life. Daniel's intelligence and rugged good looks quickly attracted the attention of Bo's daughter, Chelsea, who donated part of her pancreas to help save her father.

Chelsea's feelings for Daniel grew stronger as he tends to her during her recovery, but the handsome doctor kept her at a distance. Finally, though, he seems to have gotten over his initial reluctance. But will things look so rosy when the affair he apparently had with Chelsea�s grandmother, Kate, finally comes to light?
