Brady Black

Brady is the son of John Black and the late Isabella Toscano Black. In earlier years, Brady experienced angst over his father, whom he felt abandoned him as a child. He thirsted for revenge against John and any woman with whom John was involved.

Brady reached out to his half-sister, Belle and grew closer to fellow outcast Chloe Lane. He encouraged her with her singing and the two became very good friends. When his feelings for Chloe began to grow, her relationship with Philip Kiriakis stood in his way. When Chloe was diagnosed with leukemia, Brady took time off of work to care for her, but in the end, she turned to Philip for comfort.

Chloe eventually broke things off with Philip, but still took things slowly with Brady. He tracked down her father, who was in the witness protection program, and on their way to meet him, he and Chloe took a romantic camping trip. It was there that they shared their first kiss. They grew closer as Brady never left Chloe's side during the recovery from her bone marrow transplant. When she was able, they flew off for an exciting trip to Hollywood, but their plane was forced to land early because of the weather. Instead of Hollywood, they spent their vacation in a snow-bound cabin in the woods and this is where they first made love.

Brady went to work for Victor. Unbeknownst to Brady Victor was up to his old tricks. He pulled strings and managed to get Chloe an opportunity to perform for a European opera company. A heartbroken Brady insisted Chloe pursue her singing dreams. She left, which was exactly what Victor wanted.

What Victor didn't want was for Brady to mend his broken heart with Nicole. Sparks began to fly and Victor noticed the attraction. He brought Chloe back to Salem to tear the two apart. The plan worked, but only temporarily.

Chloe returned to Austria, where she was involved in a horrific car crash. Brady was told she died in the crash, but the truth was she survived, but wouldn't see Brady because her face had been badly scarred. Brady was devastated when he heard the news of Chloe's "death" and again turned to Nicole for comfort. This time, the two began a relationship in earnest and she believed she had truly won him. That is, until she learned the truth about Chloe. Nicole managed to keep the two lovebirds apart for awhile, but Brady finally found out about Chloe and dumped Nicole.

Brady was determined to prove his love for Chloe by finding a doctor who could remove her facial scars. He succeeded and on their wedding day, she lifted her veil to reveal a flawless face. The two left Salem for good to start a life together.

Last year, Chloe returned to Salem without Brady. Victor accused Chloe of murdering Brady, but it was later revealed that Victor had secretly sent a drug addicted Brady to rehab. Chloe visited Brady in rehab, but they could not repair their marriage and ended up divorcing.

Now clean after rehab, Brady has returned to Salem to pick up the pieces of his life. He must deal with a father who doesn't remember him, as well as the realization that he is now a DiMera. And on top of that, how will Chloe and Nicole, the women who once held his heart, react to his return?
